Trick or Treat, smell my feet

Well the time has finally come and gone….the night of the candy harvest and for momma and daddy to collect their escort fee, hehe.  What makes it even better,  getting the girls all dressed to go was a piece of cake (mmmm cheesecake….ok I gotta focus).  Simple (and cheap lol), best way to go.  They do say that less IS more.   Continue reading Trick or Treat, smell my feet

Easy Peasy No Carve Pumpkin Decor

Written by: Renee Reiter

Gone are the days of taking the time to clean and carve a pumpkin…for me anyway 🙂 It was all good fun when I was kid and mom was around to clean up the mess and take over when my hands got tired. Grown me would rather just reminisce about pumpkin carving as I tackle easier and less messy pumpkin adventures. Continue reading Easy Peasy No Carve Pumpkin Decor

Heebi Jeebie Freebie : Free Halloween Printable

Written by: Renee Reiter

Hey y’all! It’s me again, and yes I am still stuck on Halloween 🙂 I love getting to create new designs that will work well as wall decals for my Etsy shop BUT sometimes I get ideas that would make better prints than they would wall decals…case in point above. I thought it could be a cute way to add last minute decor to a Halloween Party or maybe even help decorate your work desk a little. I hope you enjoy!!

I am so pumped!!! It is finally time for me to crack down and get to workin’ on my girls Halloween costumes for this year!!  I was thrilled last year when they wanted to be classic super heroes (couldn’t have heroes without a villain hehe).  But this year they are going even more classic, Charlotte wants to be a mummy!!!  Oh ….. I can not even begin to explain my joy in this!!!  I’m all about just letting them dress up for (almost) whatever the want to be, but nothing is better than the timeless classics for me!! Toilet Monsters – Scary Not Scary Halloween Decor

Written by: Renee Reiter

Okay, I have to admit that these are some of my favorites! I have wanted to do toilet monsters since I started my vinyl business 4 years ago and now I finally have them up in my own home! I am sometimes embarrassed by how little vinyl I have up in my own home…I guess it’s like a mechanic not wanting to work on his own car after work, but I am trying to get better 🙂 I should mention that my husband would probably say there is plenty of vinyl up in our home already haha! Ghostly Good Vanishing Marshmallows

Written by: Renee Reiter

Mmmmm! What could possibly make hot chocolate better than it already is? Marshmallows! And since it’s October I thought it would be fun to make some ghost shaped ones. As usual I had to do this project twice to actually get it right…I was really upset since that required me to drink some extra hot chocolate (insert devious look here).

YES!!! WE have finally reached one of my favorite times of the year…..HALLOWEEN!!! Oh how I love all the decorations, the costumes, MAKING of the costumes, the trick or treating, the ghoulish food…it is just an all-around entertaining time for me.  Being able to be silly, dressing up my girls as I would have and just have a tons of fun.  I am always on the hun for inspiration and ideas, everywhere, especially Pinterest (duh, who doesn’t). So when I stumbled across the roses with eyes, I could not pass it up. So simple, easy, so subtle and CHEAP (my favorite part)! Continue reading Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Double Duty Fall Decor: Glow-In-The-Dark!

Written by: Renee Reiter

Fall and Halloween go hand in hand (for me anyway) and I start decorating the second I feel a chill in the air. That’s usually around mid September/October here. This leaves me in a bit of a crunch though, because I want to decorate for fall but I also want to decorate for Halloween the second October 1 hits. The solution…double duty decor. Spooky/Fun Halloween Witch Potion Bottles

Written by: Renee Reiter

I know, I know…halloween stuff already Renee…BUT I promise I have a good reason. Since I am in the retail business I find it hard to find time from October – December for my crafting fun, so I usually do it all early. What’s worse is all the craft stores are only enabling my behavior by having all the halloween goodies out already!

Potion bottles are something I have wanted to make for soooo long. I decided to have some fun playing around with the idea of filling them with various items first. If that didn’t work I was going to bust out the black paint and make tea stained labels LOL. Continue reading Spooky/Fun Halloween Witch Potion Bottles
